Research Theme
Chemical sensing using nonlinear dynamic response
SnO2 semiconductor gas sensors are widely used as an indispensable item to keep safety by detecting methane, propane or carbon monoxide gas, because of its high sensitivity, low costs and durability. However, unfortunately the selectivity, or the ability to discriminate the gases, is far from the level of satisfactory. To overcome such difficulty, we proposed to construct an intelligent gas sensor system based on the information embedded in nonlinear dynamic response.
