Extraction of the Zeroth- and First- Order Moments by the Resistive Network

(i,j): Input to the circuit
: Coordinates at node (i,j)(Nonlinear coordinates)

By adequately setting the resistive values in the circuit, the zeroth- and first-order moments is obtained from the currents at the boundaries. That is

the zeroth-order moment (the sum total)

the first-order moments

Similary, one-dimensional first-order moments are obtained from the currents on the both ends of one-dimensional resistive network. Therefore the whole cirecuit as following is constructed.
